Port Orleans

I didn't get great pictures of our hotel. Luckily we didn't have to pay too much because we were hardly there. They had a lot extra things to do there but we didn't have time to do anything.
They had an enormous lobby, huge gift shop and tons of dining. Oh, can't forget the arcade!
We could have stayed there a whole week and just had fun at the hotel.
All of the rooms were in lodges. I wanted to walk with the kids to the lodge while Russell
drove the car around.
I had no idea it was like a mile away.
By the time we got there Russ had been in the room with the twins for a while and was wondering where we were. I told him we were lost in the woods. It just kept going and going! The best part of the stay there was that it was about 5 minutes driving time to all of the parks.

Our Last Trip to Disney World

Kellie and Joel
Russ and I
Happy Birthday Kellie

The first night that we were there we met up with our friends who got us a huge discount on the hotel and got us in to the parks for free! Thanks Kellie and Joel for a great weekend!! We sure are going to miss you guys! (not just because of all the Disney stuff either!)

Thursday was Kellie's Birthday! So we went to Epcot Center and ate dinner at the Beir Gartens in Germany! Just the Adults!! Kellie's Mom and sister watched all the kids. Thanks ladies!

We had an awesome time.

There was no beer on the table except Root Beer. Our waiter from Germany said that he had never heard of Root Beer before he came to Florida. And he doesn't like it. He thinks it tastes like medicine. Epcot has people working in the different countries that are actually from there. They do 6 month intern-ships. Cool huh?

We like to pass the time while walking to the restaurants (there is a lot of walking at Epcot) by playing "spot the Mormon!" I won 7 to Russell's 2 and Kellie's zero. We met Joel there and the first one to spot him got a point. ('cause he's a Mormon!) I got lucky. I was looking for his shiny bald head ;)

Let me explain this game. By the way,.....in case you don't know.....we are Mormon! So we are not making fun of Mormons, unless we are making fun of ourselves.

Okay, ---how to play the game--- first, you look at their face. Believe it or not, Mormons have a look. Once you think you have spotted one, you need to look for another clue. A dead give away at theme parks are women wearing Capri's. Everyone who can..... wears as little clothes as they can at theme parks because it is so hot. Such as tank tops and short shorts! But as you may know, Mormons dress a little more modest! (by the way, we sweltered!)

Another giveaway is the hair.

The Utah hair.

BIG and COLORED!

Then last but not least, if you can see any identifying lines of under- clothing! YOU HAVE SPOTTED A MORMON!!

We continued to play this for the next 2 days. We found the most Mormons at the Magic Kingdom last November.

This trip we went to Hollywood Studios, formerly known as MGM studios!

And of course Epcot Center!

I will post later about our adventurous days at both of those places.

A before and after!

BEFORE.....and......
AFTER!

This is my friend Melissa. I have been doing her hair for years now and when she wanted to go brown, I jumped all over that! Doesn't she look so classy?!

This is how we started our day today.........

Do you want to guess what this is.....Blood? nope ketchup? uh...NO........
Red Finger Nail Polish???
Yip!
Guess who got a head ache and was high for about an hour after scrubbing it with finger nail polish remover??? Ya, that would be me!
Did I knock it down?
No,
but did I leave it on the shelf where it got knocked down from?
YES!! dang it!!

There are only a few girls nights left.....sad face!

We only have a few more girls nights until I move away. So we got together at my house last night.

Heather and Andrea looking very comfy on the couch!
Ya, I'm squishin 'em!
It turned into a "Bachelorette party" meaning we were watching the Bachelorette finally!
What were you thinkin?
Andrea was doing one of her many imitations. I have to say....she is quite good at it!
Fun.

Our 4th at the park....before and during the rain.

Emma tried the wall. She did pretty well.....

until she looked down. Then she was done.

All you can say to this picture is awwwwww!

They both wave to every airplane and helicopter that flies over. This time it was a chopper.

"T.C. fire up the chopper." ~name that show!!

Carter tried the harder side first and then decided to move to the easier side.

In his defense...it was raining. So a little slippery.

It was a memorable fourth. I ate way too much junk. Back on the horse tomorrow. Thank goodness it is fast Sunday tomorrow.

Cleanse!!

the 4th of July

Our fourth of July was spent in our van. Well, not all of it. But like I have mentioned before. It rains all of the time in the summertime here.
And of course the 4th of July is no exception.
So instead of sitting on the grass at the park with our blankets and snacks we were cooped up in the van because it started to pour rain.

And luckily we were able to watch a movie. Russ, of course has to hold the remote. He feels right at home.

White puffy clouds?!?! What are they? We only see dark gloomy clouds here.

Name that movie!
It's one of our favs.
"but I like da cookie!"

It's actually not so bad in there! Better than an airplane....fer sure!

Carter wanted me to put on an angry face so I said a word that comes out a lot during the day with an angry look. "STOP!"

What good would a 4th of July post be without your basic saturn fireworks picture?!
I am kind of impressed with my new camera to be able to capture the moment. I could say it is all in the photog but it really wasn't.

the announcement....again!

All right! We are back in business.
Sorry I had to remove this post before but I was jumping the gun a little bit. Can you feel my excitement!?
Anyway,
We are moving to the great state of Utah!! Or as we like to call it....HOME!!
Most of our family is there. We have missed them so much.
We have lived in South Florida for exactly 5 years and our mission here is done.
We will truly miss the wonderful friends we have met here in Florida.
We will be moving in about 4 weeks.
Thankfully we don't have to pack or move. The company will do all of that for us. I don't even know how I would accomplish that with the twins.
Here are some reasons why I love Utah and why we have missed it so much.
(These pictures were mostly taken from Ksl.com. One was taken from danheller.com)

Thank you for all of the congratulations so far...(on the comments I had to remove) and for all of the support. It's not an easy task moving 3000 miles away but hopefully we get through it unscathed.
