A good reason to NOT do something stupid

When I was 17, I did something really stupid.....

So after hating it for years, I got a really good excuse to get rid of it.

I got a calling in the Young Women.

And I refuse to be a bad influence for my girls.

I wear long pants or boots that cover it.

I haven't shown it since I got the calling.

I went for a consult on Friday and the lady said, "you want to do it right now?"

I was like....heck ya!

So she lazered it.

It hurt. (luckily it was over in mere minutes)

It was expensive.

It cost me $75.00 to put the tattoo on.

It cost me $175.00 for ONE session of the process to take it off.

It will take a year of lazering every 8 weeks to get rid of it completely.

And yes, I have to pay a hundred and seventy five bucks each time!!!

Here is what it looked like a few hours after I got it lazered.

A little blistery.
(warning...the next pictures are yucky!)

Here is what it looked like the next day (yesterday)

Have you every seen a blister that big before?

Sick huh?!

Russ popped it last night with a sterilized needle.

It oozed.

It makes me sick just talking about it.

GRosS!

Easter Sunday

Long time no see!!

It has been a while.
I have been so very crazy busy.
I got a 3rd calling in the church.
I am the new beehive advisor.
Along with Activity days and ward music chairman.
Right after I got put in, we planned new beginnings.
We decorated the gym at the church like a jungle.
It took 4 days for set up and take down.
My house suffered that week.
It was fun though.
The ladies that are in the Y.W. with me are so super fun!
I love 'em.
I have been busy in the salon for a couple of months.
I love cutting hair.
I am glad that I have been doing it a lot lately.
We went to St. George to visit my parents.
Then we came home for a day and then I went with the kids to my sisters to visit with my nephew who just returned from his mission.
The picture is at the bottom.
Then we came home a few days later and went to the Dugway Easter egg hunt.
Jarom LOVED the Bunny. Allie...did NOT!!

They got tons of eggs and had a blast!
Jarom kept falling down on purpose and slowly spill his eggs out of his basket.
(baskets were bought at Sam's club for $8.24 each.)

Russell told me to open the eggs and give them a treat and so I open one egg and it is a toy.
Then I open another egg and...another toy!
Not one piece of candy!
The eggs were all full of those stupid Chinese toys that went straight to the garbage can.
Can you believe..not one piece of candy?
What kind of Easter Egg hunt is this??

We met at my brothers house a couple of nights to eat and mingle and be.
Joel, my oldest nephew, and the oldest grandchild is there in the middle in the white shirt.
This is all of my mom and Dad's grand kids minus 3.

Me and Joel.
He served in the Ohio mission.
He was a great missionary.
I am so proud of him!
Love you Joel!
(that shirt makes me look really fat!)
(bad shirt, bad...)
