Need I say it...

I was hoping to make it a whole year before posting on my blog again  8) but, now that I am home and not working, I figure I should start writing again.
We were without Internet for a while because we were pinching pennies, but now they have separated the price of Internet from cable and we only have to pay for Internet since we don't get cable.
It was really frustrating to go to the library every time I wanted to use the Internet.
Ahhhh, the luxuries we enjoy at home eh?

Fall is around the corner and I couldn't be more excited! I just hope we have a long fall this year and it doesn't go right into winter like it has in the past.
I am really okay with it only snowing in December, but mother nature might have different ideas than me. But, that is okay because she has a hard job and I wouldn't want it. Could you imagine every one always blaming you for things.
'Dang, that mother nature rained on our bar-b-que!'
or...
'A hail storm blew in right on our wedding reception!'
Oh, the pressure to make everyone happy....
So I will let her do her job and try....TRY not to complain when it is 5 degrees outside.

But I do love FALL!!!
It is unarguably my favorite season of all.
It is still early, which means, I need to prepare for things now.
As a matter of fact, after post this, I plan on looking for ideas for great costumes for the kiddos so I can get making them. I say every year that I want to make their costumes and I never do and then at the last minute, we are at the D.I. looking for old man clothes for Carter to wear with his 'I LOVE BINGO' hat and old man mask.
When I was at Ross the other day, (my favorite store) I found the cutest Hello Kitty sweat outfit for Allie and put it away for her birthday. I am not known for shopping and storing, so I am really proud of myself for this "thinking ahead"!

On the run.

I haven't been home for a while.
It's been a crazy month.
St. George for a week and a half over Thanksgiving.
Home for 3 days.
Worked for 2 of those days.
Did laundry and packed again on the third.
Sent our kids to family's house.
Thanks Vera, Loni, and Ben.
Then went to celebrate 15 years at the Anniversary Inn in Logan.
Heard that my Uncle died.
Came home 2 days later, just to change and head back out to a work party.
(this picture is of Jarom running out and saying,"I didn't kiss you goodbye!" Even though he did twice already)
Got home late.
Went right to sleep.
Had a special stake conference in Tooele, instead of church.
Ran around like crazy trying to pack me and the twins so we could leave for St. George right after conference.
Drove down south, without getting pulled over this time.
Go go go go !!!
Attended a funeral.
Sad, but happy times.
Leaving tomorrow.
I will be home for another week and then off to Mom and Dad's again for Chrismas.

Momma's tree....

Chrismastime is here!

Tuacahn (two-a-con)

 Tuacahn is an amazing place.
If ever you are in southern Utah, you must enjoy a show there.
I recommend getting there in the daylight so you can see the amazing rock that surrounds the premises.
We saw the live nativity show. It was cute.
And of course we saw Santa and went for a ride on the train.

Happy Thanksgiving

This was the year to spend Thanksgiving in St. George.
And this is the weather we had.
Brrrrrrr!
Usually it is nice and pleasant in November Down South.
Not this year!
We rented a condo that Vera and Ben and their families shared with us.
It was a lot of fun!
I had to turn over the condo today and it was kinda sad.
 I spent 5 nights there.
It grew on me and I didn't want to leave.
It was much nicer than getting a motel.
We celebrated Emma's 8th birthday there.
I came down to help Mom and Dad a few days before everyone else came.
Well, me and the twins.
Russ came down on wednesday with Carter and Emma.
He wanted to head home today, and I didn't.
The roads are very bad and it took him a very long time to get home.
He has 4 wheel drive and I don't.
I hate driving in the snow. It's very stressfull.
So he took Carter and the twins, and Emma stayed with me.
Maybe we will mosey home tomorrow if the roads are better.
We'll see.

whine and complain moment.

I have to come to the library to post on my blog now because we got rid of our internet.
I feel like my life is just in limbo waiting to see what is going to happen with the house we are trying to get in on post. It doesn't look good. We are trying to move to a 5 bedroom house because I dont like the huge 6 bedroom we are in. They are not being very cooperative about letting us move.
If I had my way, I would just move to Lehi. Or somewhere around there. I am so tired of the bureaucratics  here on post. Its just plain rediculous. If my husband would just be the one to get the brilliant idea to move, we would be on our way. I hate this time of year too. I am so over the whole Christmas thing. I am not decorating this year. It just feels weird trying to decorate where you dont want to live. Our house feels like we live in someones basement. Yuck!! waaa waaa cry, boo hoo! whiny cry baby. Oh well, life sucks, get over it.!!!

Carter's first shave...

Carter is 12. But, he could pass for 16. He already knows how to drive and is more responsible than most 18 year old that I know.  I'm glad he is not 16 though because that would mean he would be leaving me sooner than he is. I love having this guy around. He is funny and handsome and  very helpful. I love my Carter Bugs.

navy man

This is my Daddy!

This is my Daddy and I am so glad he is alive!

It has been a crazy 2 weeks.
He was diagnosed with a bladder infection that turned into a kidney infection that then turned into pneumonia which then made his heart go crazy fast.
He was in the ICU for 6 days pretty much comatose.
We were certain that we were going to lose him.
One day, I told Mom to come back with me to his room to say goodnight, and we took off his by-pap mask to give him some ice and he started talking to us.
MIRACLE!!
And from that day on it has been a roller coaster with him getting better.
But now, as you can see, he looks amazing, and is doing amazing.
We will hear more tomorrow about what is the plan for him coming home.

We had a great big group cycling through his room to visit.
My brother dropped everything and flew down from Washington state,
and my other brother dropped everything and drove 5 hours to get here.
My sisters and I came down in a hurry too.
It's so good to know that family will be right there in a jiffy when they are needed.

Thanks to everyone for the loving thoughts and prayers for my sweet Daddy.
I love you all so much and I am so thankful for you.
And I LOVE MY DAD!
